I'm a local of Lisburn and visits this Dobbies branch around once or twice a month. Its a good place for home and garden stuff, expensive but good quality. Restaurant space is good but need improvement on menu and attitude of staff who serve food.
Had breakfast on Friday and it was easily the worst breakfast I have ever had.it was nearly cold the bacon was greasy swimming in fat potato bread was like cardboard obviously pre cooked by several hours. Doggies used to be a nice place to visit but I will be stopping my membership forthwith.i was violently sick on saturday night as was the friend that was with me and the only thing we ate in common was dobbies breakfast.I have worked in catering for 30 years and it is quite obvious that the serving staff need training i.e. no nail polish to be worn hats must be worn when dealing with food.I could go on but please take my advice and don't eat at dobbies
Not only a garden centre, this is quite a comprehensive and varied shopping location. Gardening enthusiasts of course are well catered for with a huge variety of plants, pots, ornaments, tools and sheds etc. Other attractions include a restaurant, food hall, ladies, gentlemens and childrens clothing and a book sales area. A small soft surface play space for toddlers has thoughtfully been installed. More household peculiarities and needs can be viewed with a leisurely stroll around the complex. A large free parking area is located nearby and the Lisburn Saintfield Road M1 roundabout is very close for visiting shoppers.
Place always smells like a sewer has burst under the floor and the attitude of some staff members at the tills is downright rude. I do not recommend this place
Had a lovely afternoon tea here with my mum. Sandwiches were well filled. Great selection. Good value for money. Our server Anya was lovely
