Whilst the doctors are very good, it is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait for an appointment, this being 1 month. I know this is not doctors fault but they either need more doctors or stop taking on new patients. It also annoys me that when people make appointments and fail to keep them, who these days doesn't have access to a phone it takes about 5 seconds to cancel an appointment.
The GP's here are very good. The service is very good. It's also very good having so many services in one building, makes it easier for everyone involved.
Hi, I have been with level 3 from birth 33 years ago and i am still with them. Why, i don't know?? I wanted to get a new doctor at level 2 and i'm being told i need photo ID, yes photo ID for a patient of 33 years from level 3 to get to level 2. This is why i don't know why i'm still with them... At 19 years old some horrible Doctor ruined my life with addiction to SLEEPING tablets, by prescribing them 3x PER DAY. Yes, u did read that right, 3 sleeping tablets, per day, at 19 years old. Diazepam are 10x less addictive and not as strong to put a person to sleep than temazepam. If all this isn't bad enough, the Prescription was Repeat and not Acute, meaning months of taking 3 sleeping tablets per day. My condiction went downhill, and quick!! I almost got barred from the health centre, for going down demanding more of these sleeping tablets. They are not Prescribed at all these days it seems, and as a guy with social and generalized Anxiety disorder from back in 2000, i am unable to get 3 of these tablets per month to take 1 at NIGHT, which is how they should be taken/ prescribed... Never mind 3x per DAY, so.. really??? Says who??? These drugs that ruined people's lives, like my own, by the way; they were prescribed to me at only 19years old, and now"can not" all of a sudden be Prescribed properly in a way that "can't" lead a sick patient to addiction. It would be impossible for a Doctor to prescribe me 3 sleeping tablets per month and me be addicted. Due to the fact i was prescribed the wrong tablets, and the fact even the Chemist just up the road LOWRYS were very professional back then, year 2000, and called my Doctor the first time he Prescribed 3x sleeping tablets per day, to tell him it was wrong. It is on record, and he then had the duty to give me tablets he knew were wrong, because he phoned my Doctor on level 3 to tell him the tablets were wrong for 3x per day, just to be told it was correct and to prescribe it!!! Alarm bells now ringing!! Nothing on a google search about tamazepam from doctors will lead to Tamazepam articles on DAY use of these tablets. Nothing "off the books", can explain this prescription, even back then. It should have been a tablet less addictive x10 for Anxiety during the day i got, "Diazepam." Now because of the internet, and the fact i have now become aware of the fact i got prescribed sleeping tablets 3x per day, instead of diazepam which is 3x per day for Anxiety, i told my Doctor i'm leaving level 2. After doing this, i called level 2 who said i'm not allowed to change to level 2 Doctors. When i called the receptionist back to tell her she was wrong, she admitted this and then with a very bitter way about making sure i didn't get a Doctor, made out like i was abusive to her on the call. She told me none of the Doctors would take me on for a second time in 30 minutes, and after phoning a third time to complain about her now saying this, i was told i wasn't allowed to complain, as i'm not with them. 1 DAY later when i'm allowed to complain, the practice manager confirmed all calls ARE NOT recorded, so i had no way to prove i was being mis treated. These people are treating me like scum, because i want to complain about the fact at 19 years i had a Doctor, who if still prescribing meds like that today in N.ireland, would be described as a death dealer against a non-Adult, giving me 3 sleeping tablets per day! He must have know how quickly i'd become addicted to these tablets and how at only 19, my life would become a disaster. 19 year old and getting 3x sleeping tablets per day. No excuse can be given, no answers by Doctors in the same practice, now that i know how bad this was for me at a young age, left just me on my own, very unwell and feeling like i am now being refused treatment and being bullied by receptionists, practice managers and Doctors.
Probably the worst surgery Ive ever experienced. New mother and told each time I try to make an appointment that there is none within 6 weeks and Ill have to try and phone again a week later, only to do so and be told the same thing. Emergency appointments are not offered even in cases of emergency. Receptionists rude and unhelpful, despite the nurses and doctors being lovely when you actually manage to catch a glimpse of them (even though its easier to get an appointment with the queen) Signs on walls stating how many people fail to show up to appointments which is hardly surprising if theyre made 8 weeks in advance.
